You can not conserve it because it is heat from the earth making it difficult. Many people will use this to heat there houses..

In theory it is inexhaustible from a human point of view but its problem is that since it relies on drawing heat from the ground it will cool the volume around the collectors. This will lost heat will be renewed but it will take a while. Also, you'd have to consider if the useful heat output from a given plant is sufficiently greater than the input electrical energy needed to drive the system; and this will be specific to the site.

You cannot "conserve" the heat in a scientific sense but you might be able to store it for slow release, rather as in an electric night-storage heater.
