If you mean "can I find the parts to install a pistol grip and vertical forearm onto a Savage model 30D 12 ga pump shotgun?" then the answer is almost certainly no. While the butt stock and forearm come off the 30D easily enough, the gun hasn't been manufactured since 1978. No company is manufacturing aftermarket parts for a 30 year old gun. Any such parts would have to be hand made.
Note: federal law requires a shotgun to have a minimum barrel length of 18", measured from the face of the closed breech to the muzzle, and a minimum overall length of 28"
You cannot purchase a pistol grip for Hatsan/Escort shotguns. It is illegal to sell/buy pistol grips for any shotgun mfg. outside of the United States.
I just borke my grip too! so bummed. I found reproduction grips at vintagegungrips.net/ao-s3.html‎. hope that helps. George
Without the proper skills and tools, doing so can become very dangerous. Even if you suceed, the gun would then probably become illegal - pistol grips on non-pistol firearms tend to be against the law.
Unlikely
There are many manufacturers that make pistol grips for shotguns, including sear model 200, 12ga. Some popular brands include Hogue, ATI, Blackhawk, and Magpul. However, it's important to note that not all pistol grips will work with all shotguns, and it's essential to ensure that the pistol grip you choose is specifically designed for your shotgun make and model.
Yes
They're scary looking.
How much does a used Winchester model 1300 excellent condition with pistol grips and a side saddle go for?
I certainly don`t know of any law against a pistol grip on a shotgun in our state of Wisconsin, this is the state I live in and I know many law-abiding hunter that have pistol grips on their shotguns , I mean what would be the sense of making that illegal it`s no more dangerous than just a regular grip I think.
This is the one who asked the question. Cleaned it off. Found a serial number, Typed it in to Savage Arms and found out this pistol is a 1917 Savage model 1907. Still have't figured out about the S in the diamond, though. Any ideas?
most any large gun store will have them.
