The air shocks in a 91 chrysler are actually just air bags in a sence, they are a red cylindrical rubber peice that is fit inbetween the actuall springs in the shocks. Removing your tire and take a look, if there is a red thing inbetween your spring coils you have air ride shocks. They are not like the newer models as they don't self adjust they are actually always full of air.
Air shocks on a Buick Park Ave are adjustable to give a smoother ride. If a shock or compressor fails, the rear of the car will sag an possibly drag on low road bumps.
