Well, If you download iTunes, then you should just be able to put the CD in the disk drive and open iTunes, then it will let you download the CD onto iTunes and it will be in your computer! Yay!
Yes, every audio CD that I play on my Macs are copied into iTunes on the machine automatically while it is being played. After that finished I put the CD in storage and when I want to play it again I just play the copy in iTunes.

You can burn tracks from iTunes to a CD by adding the tracks you want to a playlist and then right clicking on the playlist's name and selecting Burn To Disc from the menu.
