Be sure this 50 year old friend IS hitting on your 19 year old son and not just joking around. 50 isn't dead yet! If you and your wife both feel that her friend is hitting on your son and it's making your son uncomfortable then discuss it with your wife and it's your wife's responsibility to have a little talk with her friend to let her know she doesn't appreciate her actions towards her son.
As long as your son was on the policy or had permission from the owner of the vehicle to drive it, he should be covered.

More than likely they will not pay the claim as you violated the terms of the policy by not making them aware of all drivers and household residents. This is called material misrepresentation of the contract. If you don't pay the premium for your son to be on the policy why should the insurance company be liable for an accident with him driving.
No, there will not be any coverage for the son as he was not listed on the policy and not paid the premium.(The coverage is for accidental damages to the driver). Bhanu
