the model doesn't matter but system software does. you can crack a psp of version 5.03 or below, by seeing the tutorial in you tube(just type "how to crack a psp?" in the search box and then search), if you have a psp of version more than 5.03, yo can give it to professionals to crack it, (In India, in tamilnadu, in Coimbatore you can give it to a shop named "game paradise"-1st floor - in lakshmi complex to crack it)(in Singapore you can give it to "chin chin" plaza there are many shops there )

The gameboy came out considerably earlier, coming out in 1989 compared to the PSP coming out in 2004. The PSP's timeframe is more comparable to the DS, which released just before the PSP in 2004.
As long as the UMD's casing isn't too badly cracked, the game should still work inside the PSP.

Well I have Ratchet 1,2,3 ( bought separately for PS2) and Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time. The trilogy is very fun to play, but crack in time's graphics and gameplay are awesome. Either way check YouTube for gameplay.
