yes i have some american and abyssinian guinea pigs
the american has 3 babies and looks little rough an curls and its father is another breed of it
* the shopkeeper told me she had abyssinian fur but she never got rosettes. She was a sort of orangy colour with a white stripe down her nose. Her fur was quite rough, not smooth. If anyone knows what sort of guinea pig she was i'd be really grateful, thanks! :) she may have been a abysinnian cross breed, or just an abysinnian which lacks rosettes, did she have ridges in her fur at all? if you have a picture of her it would make identifying her breed easier, either way, hope this is some help :)
Abyssinian
Sure! Then you would just have a cross bred piggy!
If you mean guinea pigs no Birds do not breed with mammals... If you mean guinea hens then yes it has been done successfully. See related links for some good pictures of Chicken / guinea hen cross breeds known as GUIN-Hen
A hybrid guinea pig is a guinea pig that is not a pure bred. Its mother may be a abyssian and its father may be a texel. purebreds parents are the same (mom and dad are both texel).
It is a mix bred.
No, it is impossible for a female hamster and a male guinea pig to breed. That would be cross-breeding and you can cross-bread two different species.
The asian women in Lost has a APB (American Pitbull Terrier) cross EDP (European Dobermann Pinscher) cross breed. They stated this on the official movie website.
yes but they will come out weird and possibly disorented
No. As long as the species is the same (and sometimes not even the same) they can and do mate. This is how cross breeds are produced. Many special purpose breeds are developed this way. A breed with good meat qualities is crossed with a breed with good egg laying qualities and a dual purpose bird is eventually bred. Chickens and guinea fowl can cross breed, peafowl and grouse have been done also.
No because it would probably have a platypus bill and a zebra body Yes, a monkey is a cross breed between a Columbian zebra and a American platypus, Hannah McGlamory! Love, Dixon
Ants cannot cross breed. Ants will only breed with other ants of the same species. They will not cross bread with other types of insects.
