Intuniv is packaged as a time-released medication. That means the tablet must be intact, or the entire 24 hours worth of meds will dissolve very quickly -- you'll get a large dose of the meds right away, followed by 23 hours of no meds.
As with all time-released meds, you should not cut, chew, or crush an Intuniv tablet.

Intuniv is a brand-name for the extended release guanfacine. Guanfacine is used to lower blood pressure; however, it does not thin blood.
Guanfacine is the generic form of Intuniv. So if the same dose and form, yes.
Intuniv is non-narcotic.
Doing this can be dangerous, Intuniv and clonidine are both strong antihypertensives, if you do take both (unlikely) then do so directly under a doctors instruction. Unsafely taking these together may result in death from cardiac collapse
