it's possible,but not likely.If you slide it a foot one way or the other than probaly not.But if you slide it more than that ,than yes,2 ways.You can pull on thermostat wires and pull them internally apart,either iside unit or even inside wire(break insulation).Or you can kink copper tubing or cause small leak in tubing,only to be found a month later,by unit now not cooling,due to low freon.If it was completely removed and then reinstalled by landscapers than absolutely.They are not equiped with the equipment nessciary to install correctly,or the proper know how.
