Yes you can delete the setup file once you have installed the program if you are sure you won't need it anymore.I do not personaly recommend it.

There is no abbreviation for "installed". However "installer" is often shortened to INST in computer file names.

They are there because they were installed by a an auto-installer that you never even knew happened. And yes it is crappy and should be illegal. Just delete them from the start up group and try to track them down and delete them!!! If you didnt install it don't trust it!!
