What part of circuit is not necessary for the circuit to be complete?

By definition an electrical circuit is a route or path that starts and finishes at the same place. So there is no part of an electrical circuit that is not necessary, because if there were it would not be an electrical circuit. An electrical circuit needs a power source. Conductors to transmit the voltage from the power source to the load. The final component of the electrical circuit is the load that you want to energize. If you remove any of the components there will be an open circuit and the load will be impossible to operate.

What is a short circuit how does it happen and why is it dangerous?

A short circuit is when the current in a circuit flows directly from the live/phase conductor to the neutral conductor without passing through a load. This is dangerous because the amount of current in a circuit is determined by the resistance/impedance (assuming constant voltage). The resistance of the conductor is very low and this allows large amounts of current to flow which should operate the circuits protective device (fuse). In the absence of a protective device the current will cause the conuctor toheat up first producing fumes from burning insulation and eventually seting on fire.

What pushes the current around the circuit?

A voltage supply is needed to operate a circuit.

Do you have a circuit breaker which operates for one millon volts?

Circuit breakers operate on current not voltage.

What activities are lost when the electrical supply is cut off?

All activity that depends upon an electrical supply to operate will cease. To overcome this type of situation standby generators and uninterrupted power supplies are used until the electrical supply is re-established.

How electrical circuit operate?

The topic is not suitable to be discussed in this forum. I suggest reading a box or taking a class.

How do you add a fixture to an electrical circuit?

Any devices that are added to a circuit and need the full line voltage to operate, are added in parallel to any other load devices or fixtures in the circuit.

What are electrical fuses?

Safety devices used in electrical circuits.AnswerA fuse is an overcurrent protection device, and will operate in the event of a sustained overload current or a short-circuit current.

Why do light bulbs burnout?

For incandescent lights, they operate with a superheated filament. The filament slowly burns away and eventually breaks, opening the electrical circuit.

What is ohmmeter?

An ohmmeter is a type of electrical metre that measures electrical resistance. When in resistance-measuring mode, multimeters also operate as ohmmeters. An ohmmeter measures the resistance of a circuit or component by passing electricity through it.

How did early circuit breakers operate?

Circuit breakers operate. is the operetion of the break of the circuit. FORMULA : f(x) = m x+b

How an electrical relay works?

A relay will have a control circuit and a function circuitcould be the same feed line. One set of terminals (Hot and Load) can be activated at all times, but will not function until the control circuit is closed. The control circuit has a Hot and a Ground--when activated either by supply hot or ground by switch. The internal coil closes allowing the function circuit to operate. The purpose of this relay is to reduce the spike to the alternator. It takes less current (voltage) to close the coil on the relay than it would to operate the accessory that it controls
