If you removed your wife from the account, you no longer have access or right to her finances. The only way for you to cash it would be to have her pay it over. When this is done you often need her present so the institution can verify her and that she is wanting to give her check to you. There is a lot of fraud and this is why they often want to see both people with IDs. If her direct deposit is still going to her account, technically you have access to that but she does not since she is not joint. She might want to get this changed so she has access to her money.

The check would first have to be endorsed, that is, signed, by the wife before being deposited. The endorsement is proof that the wife has agreed to this by signing the check over to her husband. An unendorsed check will not be accepted.

no, not unless your moneys are tied together somehow like you all have a joint checking account and the money is withdrawed by you to give to them that means whatever monies she puts in the bank you all are dividing equally and so yes she is paying if your doing it that way if there is a garnishment on your check and you have direct deposit and you share the account then yes but if your supposed to pay that money take out of your money not the both of ya'lls money cause that's not fair she's paying for kids that aren't hers. no, that is your debt. with direct deposit of payroll child support is taken out of pay before they do deposit.
