I believe you push the # 3 and # 5 buttons at the same time - the head phone symbol should go out and pushing the # 3 and # 5 button at the same time will enable the rear radio controls again
Try this: To engage, simultaneously press the memory preset controls 3 and 5. Press again to disengage.

This feature does not exist, though there are some cases that can cover it and some games give you the option of disabling it through the Controls menu.
There is a separate fuse for the rear entertainment / radio controls. It looks like fuse #6 might* be one to check. * darned manual isn't the clearest regarding which fuse protects what Speaking of the Owners Manual... see "Related Questions" below for links to online Owners Manuals.
The rear defroster (demister) on a Subaru Legacy is built into the window. The lines going across the back window are actually the defrosters. If the vehicle is equipped with a rear wiper, the switch for this should be located below the radio and heater controls.

To disable the rear hatch lock on a 2005 PT Cruiser, you can start by checking the vehicle's manual for specific instructions. Generally, you can try removing the rear hatch trim panel to access the locking mechanism and disconnecting the wiring harness that controls the lock. If the lock still seems to unlock by itself, consider inspecting the fuse related to the hatch lock system or consulting a professional for further diagnosis.

I recently replaced the factory radio in my 1999 EB Explorer and, while the new radio had a CD player in it, I lost the use of the 6 CD changer in the armrest. Also, if you have steering wheel controls or rear seat controls, you may need to also install an add on, assuming the radio has an infrared remote control, to enable these controls. I also did this and it works reasonably well.I used Crutchfield and they are very helpful in answering questions you may have - you should try that also.bntdcarr@comcast.net
If the face plate of the original factory radio is Oval, like the 1997 escort, you can get a new radio faceplate that will accept a standard aftermarket radio from crutchfield. Mine cost $49 back in 1997. It even takes the original A/C and rear defroster controls.
