well if your talking about the goals on your Sims things to do.... those give you points to purchase lifetime things like steel bladder and other things.. if you finish your lifetime goal you will get like 40,000 lifetime points or 30,000 somewhere around there hope this helps. :)

You can complete activities or 'adventures' and get a visa point reward, which all amount to a higher visa level. But I wish there was a cheat, because this takes patience which I do not have!Sims is my life, yet without me they cannot function. I love it that way!

Why didn't Maxis make The Sims 3?
The Sims 3, along with The Sims 3 World Adventures, was made by Electronic Arts, primarily EA Blackbox (EA Canada) and Visceral Games (owned by Electronic Arts). Maxis had nothing to do with the Sims 3, unfortunately. Maxis made The Sims (including all expansions) and The Sims 2 (including all expansions) EA only published The Sims and Sims 2 (all expansions), they never created anything about it.

No. Ambitions has all features, or most from sims 3 original app plus the ambitions features. I sadly wasted my money without knowing on ambitions, adventures and sims 3 original. Wish I just got ambitions and adventures.
