Yep! Just take a few colors of open polish. With a toothpick, randomly drop one or 2 drops of each color on the already painted nail. Drag a clean toothpick through all of the dots in a swirl design. Then put on a topcoat!
what youI need:
a tooth pick, tape, a couplebowl colors of nail polish, & a bowl filled with room temperature water.
OPPPOTIONAL: Paint a clear coat andon then a base coat on all of your nails before starting.
1- tape the skin around your nails.
2- take one color of nail polish and dip the tip on the brush in the water so a small glob expands in the water.
3- take another color of nail polish & repeat step 2, but dip the tip in the middle of the expanded glob.
4- keep repeating these steps until it the polish fills the whole bowl & the center of the polished bowl is quite small.
5- take your toothpick and lightly draw a design on the polish but do not break it... its better if you make a light line from the outside to the center of the bowl, but you can do whatever.
6- once you done with your design stick the taped finger vertically on the spot you want on your nail.
7- keep your nail on the spot so you can clean the area you don't want up with your tooth pick.. it's much easier twisting the toothpick to get the polish out.
8- once your done, take out your finger & untape it.
9- now proceed with these steps for each nail.
10- after your done with all of your nails, paint a clear coat on all of your nails.
yes this may take a long time with this process, but you'll get faster everytime you try this. I hope this helped you out. :) goodluck with your nails!
well, any nail polish really. Its impossible to tell someone a brand that works, because it depends on the color itelf. newer polishes work best though, and they should be very pigmented but not too thick. they MUST be slow drying though.

Actually this is incredibly easy, just use industrial acetone that you buy in hardware stores. Put some on a paper towel and just wipe up the nail polish. Acetone will not harm the stone. Any other stone questions visit my blog and ask, I'll be happy to answer. http://artearthstonetiles.blogspot.com/
