Under no circumstances should you drink while under medication with nitazoxandia. Under no circumstances should you drink while under medication with nitazoxandia. alternative answer: In fact there is no indications of interaction of nitazoxanida ( I do not know nitazoxandia)with alcohol. It is not recommended to drink alcohol under medication with nitazoxanida even I do not know why. Medical literature is similar to the religious one: do that, do not do that, and do not ask why. However it is clear that nitazoxanida have not the disulfiram effect as other member of the family (nitro­imidazols) which would be responsible of such statement as the initial answer to the question. If you are under medication with nitazoxanida please do not drink alcohol, but if you had a beer and look later the answer, do not panic, nothing will happen.
