Yes you can drink with no side effects or adverse reactions. Keep in mind off course like all anti-biotics or heavy drinking, you may experience an upset stomach or diarrhea worse case scenario. Just keep your fluids up while consuming alcohol and you should be fine. I'm glad I got to answer this question because after all the research, not many people seem to know what they're talking about. I ended up calling my pharmacist for his advice on this and am now sitting happily with a glass of wine...or two
