How do you drive the scarab on halo 2?

You can,all you have to do is kill everyone ( including marines and ennimes,of course),get a quick,light vehicle,leap onto the front,stand on the edge and move along the edge and that's technachly driving it.

You cannot actually board a Scarab and drive it like you can with vehicles such as a Warthog, however I have heard of a glitch where on "the Ark" You kill everyone (including Marines) but don't destroy the scarab, then stand on the front of the scarab, and it will walk in the direction you are facing. This is caused by the fact that you are the only remaining enemy, so it will attempt to follow you by walking in your direction.

Go play The Ark on easy and start in Rally Point Alpha. Fight your way to the scarab. When it comes for the second time kill every single enemy in the area (even the ones in the scarab) then when that's done kill all your allies. Once this is done it should be you and The scarab. Get on the scarab and stand on a certain area of the outside of the scarab. The scarab should walk that way. The fun part is you can even climb walls

You can't drive the scarab on regular Xbox, but you can on Xbox Live on Mission 6: The Ark at Rally Point Brovo, What you have to do is run into each corner of the Scarab's Main Computer while holding "Y", if you do this correctly, You will drive it, so covenant or UNSC will kill it, you will have to kill your allies and enemies; The Scarab does not have a HUD!!!

You can't on Xbox, there may be a map for Halo 2 on PC with driveable scarabs up for download at http://www.halomaps.org, but there arent any available maps other than the ones downloadable in-game and on the extra halo map pack disc for the Xbox version.

In Halo: CE, players can download maps like the beforementioned website, so give it a shot and search for something similar to what you want if you have the game on Windows.
