Mainly because the F1 car does not conform to DMV regulations for required equipment and accessories. It has open wheels and can cause accidents. If it had closed in wheels then it could be used on the street. Also it needs to run at a high speed to keep cool and at low street speeds would overheat. Also because it may not have enough vision to see around and out the back so that may be an issue to. If you fixed thee problems then maybe it would be street-legal
