Yes. The system will go into limp mode. Performance will drop along with fuel mileage. Extended periods of running time with O2 sensor(s) disconnected may cause serious damage to the catalytic converter(s).
the o2 oxygen sencor is under the passenger side under the turbogharger
it could be your m.a.p sencor ,e.g.r valve ,o2 sencor or your fuel press regulator
no they can not due to the design of the plugs.
your catalic conv. is done and/or o2 sencor it both happen to me
if your ac is running and if you have a bad 02 sencor most likely it will not kill your car it depends on your sensor
yes- only if no compter is present in the car/truck . o2 sensers gage the air-fuel mix. I own two 305 engines, you have to by-pass these if you want your car/truck to run strong..
If that truck is fuel injected, yes.
Probably both or all four depending on what motor you have are just before and just after the catalytic converter.
Most likely you have a throttle position sensor ( tps ) code, or bad wiring to the switch or an O2 sensor problem. Check the code history.
have the car checked out, it could be a bad o2 sensor or a plugged converter.
o2 sen
There are several O2 sensors on that vehicle and they are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
