If it is pink you could if you really wanted to but if it is black i would suggest against it. Cooked shrimp turns pink. But i dont see why you would want to eat frozen shrimp unless you couldn't wait 10 minutes to thaw it out.

∙ 13y agoActually, they may be a bit tough and not have the best flavor, but you can dice them up and make shrimp-fried rice with it. You can also make shrimp mousse, but that's a bit advanced , and not nearly as popular in most places.

∙ 15y agoThat would depend on the amount of freezer burn. Eating freezer-burned shrimp would not be detrimental to your health, but the flavor will be less than desirable. If there's just a small amount on the shrimp, you could try cutting it off - but it might not be worth the effort.

∙ 10y agoNo, the freezer burn is not toxic, it just dries out the shrimp and it will not taste 'fresh'. Provided the shrimp was fresh when first frozen and has remained frozen then you should not get sick.
