∙ 11y agoWell it is advisable to not to have very hot or very cold things (ice creams) immediately after filling, especially after silver amalgam fillings, as the material requires certain time to set. Eating ice creams immediately after fillings may cause some sensitivity. But with newer materials like composites which sets immediately, rate of feeling sensitivity is being reduced. But still it is better to not to have ice creams immediately after filling.
