That's probably a good idea to ask a dentist, but from what I say; soda isn't a good idea, and maybe a little bit of sweets is fine.

Yes, Soda is bad if you drink to much of it and it can ruin your teeth. Juice is better for your teeth than soda.

diet: dont eat to many sweets and dont drink alot of juice or soda. If you drink soda or juice its better to drink it right away as opposed to sipping on it all day. Same with eating sweets, just eat them right after you eat ... dont keep putting a jolly rancher in your mouth every half hour for the whole day Hygiene; brush and floss extra; you can use ACT fluoride mouth wash. Buy over the counter and use as instructed you can also chew gums that have xylitol in them like some trident gums have
