i just got out of dt i was there because i got caught with spice and it was a probation violation and when i was there my po came to see me and she said that they have a spice test and that i was the first one to take it i didnt believe her i thought she was joking i thought now way and at that time i thought it would be out of my system cuz i havent used it for almost 20 hours so i thought i was good cuz i thought it got out of your system in 3-5 hours but that's a lie if you are on probation u will get tested for it you don't have to believe me but im tellin you the truth it cost them 50 dollors to test for it but they will believe that so i just wanted to give u all a warning for those smoking spice i wish i knew what i know now before

For example, if a soldier's commanding officer found some evidence of the drug in his or her possession. Or if your employer or probation office specifically wants to know if you have been using "legal herb" as a marijuana substitute.
Since so little is known about the synthetic cannabinoids that are in Spice, it's not entirely clear just how long it stays in the human body. In fact, most of these chemicals have only been discovered and reproduced in the past few decades.
However, we do know about the half life and detection times for THC in the body. For example, marijuana can be detected in the body for up to five weeks after the last time it was taken, so these synthetic cannabinoids may have a similar detection window. Additionally, laboratory testing websites claim to be able to test for Spice in urine for 2-3 days after use. And the duration of Spice in the system is about 3 days. How long Spice stays in the blood and hair, though, is less apparent.

It happened to me last week at probation, i denied it and they sent it to the lab and THEN it came back negative prompting them to change policies and now i cant smoke anything. some probation departments might not take the time to send it to the lab! What the abvoe poster said is a case of a false-positive test. The spice itself did not cause the test to register for THC, as there is no THC in spice. The test was faulty, not the fault of the user.
