it is OK but you should give them meat and protein protein they would get bored of it and not eat.
They should receive a well balanced chicken feed formulated for their stage of growth (chick, layer, show rooster). Vegetable and grain kitchen scraps are great (no raw potatoes or peelings). Mine love mashed potatoes or yogurt mixed in with their feed. Corn is considered a treat- junk food. Foraging outside for insects while protected from predators is great for them and free for you.
My chickens adore sweetcorn! They also love corn on the cob, cooked. Only trouble with that is cost! I get the savers type tins of sweetcorn, about 20p each as they have some each day.
Maggots can be fed to chickens; however, it is disadvantageous if the animal is carrying botulism.
Chickens are chickens because god made them.
its probably ok if it will eat it. i cornsnakes eat mice or rats though. sometimes small birds
It is a grain and will not hurt them. They will not eat things they cannot swallow and an unpopped corn kernel is not much bigger than a piece of cracked corn normally found in hen scratch. And don't worry, the popcorn will not "explode" inside the chicken, it takes much more heat than the chicken can produce to pop popcorn. I often throw my chickens leftover popcorn and never had a problem.
Very possible! If you feed your snake live mice. I would suggest feeding them dead and just freeze them, I hope the little guy is ok :D Hope this helps!
It is fine general feed but for best egg laying results you need to add extra calcium and protein to the diet. Layer pellets or layer complete is not much more expensive than cracked corn. If not available in your area try adding 10% soy bean and a vitamin tonic to the daily water supply.
No.
Yes, you can feed them most meats as long as its cooked. Just don't feed them cat meat.
Yes corn is ok.
No.
Most human food is OK to feed chickens. Feed as a treat not as the only source, chickens need certain vitamins and minerals to produce eggs and stay healthy. Chicken feed and laying mash have added nutrients they need. Fruit of any kind is welcome at the chicken dinner table. They might not eat the banana skins but the pulp is gobbled up quickly. Do not start feeding young chicks table scraps too early as they have smaller crops and should be on chick starter until about 4 months old. Some exceptions to this are raw potato skins/rhubarb/tomato leaves. These have chemicals that can be bad for the chickens. Some of these reduce the amounts of calcium the chicken needs.
