Gerbils can eat grasses, but grass from a backyard may have pesticides that could harm or even kill your gerbils if ingested. It might be safer to grow a special bit of grass in a pot inside to ensure no pollution gets to the plants before it is ingested by your gerbils.
i wouldn't recommnds it if one escapes the other one will follow the first so if you keep them in the garden and they escape [which is highly likely] there toast a fox, stoat, or a dog WIL I GUARANTEE get them.
Yes it is a good source of water.
People say that they have 4 stomachs like cows so they eat grass, but mainly they eat as the grass has the nutrients in it for the buffalo
No they are herbivores
583 gerbils a breeder with a lot of money i say
Probably grass... but they might get bored of it because its all they eat. So actually I say corn ...
Your question is a bit hard to understand as you first say ' No a horse does not eat grass.' and then you say 'They do eat grass.' A horse evolved over millions of years into a grazing animal and they do eat grass, however they can also eat other food stuffs without much if any harm coming to them. This includes hay which is really just grass that is allowed to reach a specific level of maturity before being harvested. Horse feeds include straight grains and pelleted feeds, which are used for horses in specific need of extra calories or energy. Horses may also eat a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, berries, and horse treats.

I would say if you don't have any other treats like fruits or vegetables ( no lettuce!) you could give them a tiny piece but it's really not that good for them. try giving them something with no added sugar. They can eat them but definitely don't give it to them as food
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT DOES IT EAT..MAN YOUR SO STUPID THAT'S ALL I GOT TO SAY..N THAT'S ALL FOLKS((I WAS TOLD TO SAY THAT ONE))HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Gerbils are normally better with a mate or in packs. Some even say they have a longer life span.
Gerbils can be very smart if you take the time to train them. Gerbils can easily learn their name. To answer the question the intellegence of gerbils is on a scale from 1-10 I would say a 6 or 7.
No, not only to gerbils come in several different color varieties, but as with any animal each individual has its own personality, though with gerbils it doesn't vary as much as with say dogs.
