You can. Rabbit pellets and guinea pig pellets are essentially the same thing. Guinea pig pellest usually have vitamin C included in their ingredients...which is an essential vitamin for a guinea pig to consume. Other animals, like rabbits, horses etc, make their own vitamin C but guinea pigs don't, so like us, they need to consume it by eating things like apples. My recommendation is that you buy guinea pig pellets; rabbits can eat them as well and you make sure your pig is getting what it needs.
Its not a good idea because they eat different kinds of food. They can eat it but the hamster food is better for them.
Yes, but you probably shoulden't because, special pet food is made for pacific animals so they get all the required vitimens they need to stay healthy.
yes, guinea pigs can eat rabbit food but rabbits cant eat guineap ig food as there is something in it that causes the rabbit to be unwell.
No they'll definitly die.
I feed my guinea pigs normal guinea pig food from the pet store, but for a little variety i give them letups, carrots and apples for a treat.
Nothing. A guinea pig isn't poisonous. I know, I have one.
Actually rabbits an guinea pigs are fine together. But maybe the female guinea pig is felling lonely being the only kind in the cage. Or maybe its because the rabbit just doesn't like the guinea pig. If it's possible you can try getting another female guinea pig or separating the the guinea pig and rabbits.
No,NEVER,EVER give a guinea pig hamster food.Hamster food contains nuts, which are fine for the hamster but will almost certainly choke your guinea pig. Also hamster food contains corn which is way too fattening for guinea pigs. And lastly a guinea pig needs a lot of vitamin C which guinea pig food has plenty of while hamster food doesn't have nearly enough, plus hamster food has too much protein for guinea pigs.
no.. depending on the guinea pig wether they'll eat it or not
You can feed them both guinea pig food. Don't feed the guinea pig the rabbit food or it will be sick. Rabbits are ok on guinea pig food.
No, get guinea pig food for guinea pigs.
NO they need guinea pig food and they need fruits and veggies everydqy.
you can give your guinea pig bunny food you just have to add vitamin C drops into their water, but never feed a bunny guinea pig food!
Yeah! You can not too sure about alfalfa though! :]
It could, guine apigs are creatures of habits and even the smallest changes can stress them out, try slowly adding the new food to the piggies diet.
Make sure it has food all the time. The guinea pig is a collector..
no the guinea pigs wont even touch the rat food THANK YOU
No. They need chicken feed.
Guinea pig food is the best option if in doubt. Also add fresh greens as a treat.
Your guinea pig should get fresh food and water everyday. It's diet will include guinea pig food mix (for its required nutrients and a longer life) from a pet store, hay and fresh food eg. grass, lettuce, carrots, apples, dandelions and even melon skins. tip; make sure the food mix is specially for guinea pigs as although they will eat rabbit food, it does not contain all the nutrients needed for a long, happy guinea pig life.
No the guinea pig will no get pregnant.
