NO!! I wouldn't recommend it. Leopard geckos have weak digestive systems. The exoskeleton of the caterpillar might injury your pet internally. Many caterpillars are somewhat poisonous, and in the US there are at least 8 that might kill a gecko or other small animal that ate them.
Crested geckos will take a liking to mealworms and eat from 5-10 appropriately sized worms. Although they are great in fats and proteins, they have a tough exo skeleton and can be hard digesting at times.
With the assumption that the night crawlers you are speaking of are the dark coloured earth worms, then most would recommend no. This reasoning, is that worms are feeding off of the earth, our earth has been so heavily polluted with waste, gas emission's, and pesticides. The night crawler becomes infested with these pollutants then your gecko friend will eat it and become sick.
If you were to breed your own supply of worms, then chances are they will be fine as feeders.
First leopards are dangerous to keep. You have to tame them. The answer is no. Leopards eat only meat.
no.
No no no, if you are going to feed your leopard gecko worms you can try meal worms, wax worms or super worms are all a great choice for leopard geckos. (you can find these worms a pet store not in your back yard)
No, they only eat live food such as crickets, meal worms, wax worms, and super worms.
Sorry they do not eat ANY vegetables. They are insectivores, meat eaters, so feed them crickets. As treats give them meal worms, wax worms, and/or super worms.
no you cannot. it would kill them VERY easily. i reccomend fedding your Lepoard gecko meal worms and crickets
No they are not bad for them as they are like chocolate to them just don't feed them too no more than 1 a day.
a leopard gecko eats mostly pinhead crickets, wax worms , meal worms, apples, and potato slicesLeopard geckos are insectivores relying on insects as prey. in the wild their diet can consist of locusts, spiders, scorpions etc.. In captivity, hobbyists recommend something low in fat and high in calcium and protein; crickets, Dubai roaches, silk worms and tomato worms are great live feeders for leopard geckos.
Leopard geckos are meat-eaters. NO FRUIT. Its best to feed your gecko insects like crickets : )
dead!
They catch small insects - and swallow them whole.
Leopard geckos are strictly "insectivores" relying strictly on insects. Most worms are not to be considered insects, although they are the larva form of one, but most leopards take a great interest in: silk worms, horned worms (tomato worms), super worms, meal worms, and they also really like but also become addicting, butter worms and wax worms. Do not solely rely on the butter and wax worms due to the high amounts of fat. A leopard gecko rely on a moving prey.
I think any crickets that are sold at pet stores can be fed to leopard geckos. Just remember that small crickets are for young geckos and large are for grown-up geckos.
Leopard geckos are carnivorus. Young leopard geckos in captivity should eat small crickets and small meal worms and small tomato worms that are dusted in a vitimon supilment. Larger, older leopard geckos in captivity should eat larger crickets, mealworms, tomatoworms, and wax worms. Wax worms are a treat and should only be fed every couple weeks. Make sure to have a veriety avaible to the geckos. Many owners feed pregnant females pinkies (new born mice). I do not recomend because leopard geckos in the wild do not eat pinkies. you can also feed large leopard geckos super worms,as long as you crush there heads so their almost dead by the time your Leo eats them. if they are not dead they can possibly eat their way out o the stomach
