Yes, but you have to file listing ALL your debts, not just the one you are being sued for.
They are generally placed into foster homes before a court date; they are immediately sheltered by the state and the court date approving the permenant shelter order happens after the emergency shelter.
No, you cannot plead guilty before the court date. You must wait until your scheduled court appearance to enter a plea.
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy will be removed from a credit report 10 years after the date the Bankruptcy was FILED.
No, his court date has been delayed, as he needs dental work before being sentenced.
Your attorney should file an emergency motion or hearing to have the issue addressed before the scheduled court date. If you don't you risk being in contempt of court for disobeying the court order, and thereby potentially loosing custody because you didn't abide by the order. Be sure to go to court before your lease is up!
no
Sorry, but this makes no sense. A chapter 13 filed in November 2011 should have had a plan confirmed by now. If there is a court date of some kind for January, the case may be about to be dismissed. In any event, if the chapter 13 is still pending when you get your tax refund, it will have to be given to the chapter 13 trustee.
No police Officer has the power to make you pay a ticket before the court date. I happen to be a police Officer. When a Police Officer writes you a traffic citation he will give you a Court date that you are suppose to attend to prove your innocence. If you choose not to attend court you have the option to pay the fine. Paying the fine before your court date basically is saying that you are guilty. If the officer tells you to just pay the fine reason being is that he either has a weak case against you or he wont show up to court. Now for Example if you plea not guilty in court the Judge will give you another court date to attend in which the officer will be given a subpoena to testify against you. If the Officer does not show up in court the case will be dismissed.
For another Chapter 7... 6 years from the date of filing. The date of discharge does not matter. If you want to file a Chapter 13, you can do that immediately after the 7 discharge.
Your court date is generally listed on your ticket. You must pay the ticket before this date or show up for court.
Too broad a question - more information is needed in order to answer. What is the person charged with? What is he being held in jail for? If he is being held for extradition, he won't have a court date until he is extradited back to the state that wants him - THEN - he will receive a court date.
Is there any way to postpone the moving date?
