It is hard to know. Normally if an individual had a will, they told people about it and where it was. Copies of a will are often kept with the attorney who drafted the will. Sometimes they are filed with the probate court.

Anyone who has knowledge of a will is required to bring it to the attention of the probate court.

Only if the interested person is unethical enough to pry into the personal business of the party whose will they are interested in knowing about. BTW, such action could be a criminal offense as well as an invasion of privacy depending upon the circumstances.

You can ask the individual. They are the only ones that know and can share the information. A solicitor won't tell you.
