Yes, jambalaya can be frozen. There are several companies in the Acadiana area (Southwest Louisiana) who sell it frozen. Not quite as good as home made, but it's good. I make jambalaya as a main dish with shrimp only and we love it. Many of the restaurants serve it as a side dish, as a rice side dish. It's good any way it's made, IMO. We love Cajun food. I live in the Heart of Acandiana, Lafayette, LA. Jambalaya may be made slightly differently in the New Orleans area. Here, we have Cajun food and in New Orleans, it's more Creole. Both are great cuisines
