You don't attach a battery to the bicycle but yes you can generate electricity with a bike generator. You use a bike training stand to hold the bike up, mount a DC permanent magnet generator to the wheel, connect the generator through a charge controller to the batteries, and the batteries to an inverter which will then power electronics. How do you charge the battery using bicycle?

You'd need a bicycle with a generator, and then some adaption electronics to turn the electricity from the generator into something that can be used for battery charging.

Can a bicycle paddle be used as a turbine to generate small amount of electricity?

Yes, it can. But you will need a great amount of force to rotate it.

Will a motorized wheelchair battery power an electric bicycle?

Depends on the voltage and amperage of the battery vs. the voltage and amperage required of the bicycle.

What does a car battery do in a car?

Powers the starter motor and all the other electrics in the car when the engine is not running. When the engine is running, the battery is not needed because the alternator of which works very much like a bicycle dynamo runs all of the electrics in the car. It also keeps the battery charged. If fitted to a bicycle a dynamo will generate electricity to the bike lights when you peddle. An alternator does the same thing but with engine power instead of peddle power. the only difference between a dynamo and an alternator is that an alternator alternates the current from AC to DC a dynamo does not.

Will there be a difference in electricity produced by a normal bicycle and geared bicycle with the dynamo?

The output from the dynamo varies with the speed of the bicycle. And as a geared bicycle is likely(but don't have to) travel a bit faster than the single speed, it may produce a bit more electricity.

What produces the electrical energy in a bicycle?

Either a battery or a dynamo.

What is a bicycle dynamos?

A dynamo is a type of electrical generator. On a bicycle it is in contact with the wheels, so that it spins when the bike is moving. That spinning is turned into electricity, which can be used to power bicycle lights.

Can the energy from a bicycle dyanmo be saved?

Yes if it is used to charge a battery.

How can mechanical energy be turned into electricity?

A generator turns mechancal energy into electricity, bicycle headlights use this principle and cars do the same..
