Yes I have had it and the doc said it was most likely froma recent cut or abraision which I had at the time of using the hot tub. It was treated with a 7 day supply of Keflex and benedryl to relieve the itching and it can be contagious to others if you rash and or bumps are weeping

∙ 13y agoI believe so! after suffering in my western home with "safe" water supply, I traveled to the third world (1 month) where I drank nothing but bottled water.
I have only drunk tap water twice since returning (one month) no boils! My family have all been suffering in my absence. DO NOT DRINK from western water supplies. I believe that staph breads in western water supplies.
The infection is NOT exclusively external as the medical field would have us believe, it propagates too randomly and quickly for this to be the case when observed objectively.
The only common denominator that the sufferers have in my country is the water supply and the accepted international methods and level of treatment!
Which of course are set and maintained by multinational corporations.

∙ 13y agoIf you sit in one too long you moght be more prone to uti's or bladder infections. If your going to be in a hot tub for more than an hour, id suggest letting your parts dry out afterwards to prevent it. If its a public one, dont stay in too long.
