Let's face it, plastic surgery is expensive and it often is not covered by insurance. How do you pay for the procedure?

  • Finance the procedure through your plastic surgeon. Some surgeons will offer low-interest financing over a pre-determined amount of time.
  • Take out a personal loan from your bank or credit union.
  • Pay the fee using your credit card.

Be aware of some clinics or plastic surgeons offering low financing or special offers. They may not be board-certified plastic surgeons and are only interested in luring in customers via false advertising and claims for inexpensive services. While the deal may look promising, their procedures may not be safe if the surgeon doesn't have the proper training. Some doctors provide financing or you can ask for a personal loan from your bank. Nearly all plastic or cosmetic surgery is considered elective, which means health insurance does not pay for it. This means you need to have a grasp of the full cost of nose job surgery.

Only if you have deviated septum and/or your nose was broken to the point of having breathing problems and your doctor signs off on the condition as being severe enough to have a rhinoplasty to correct it.
