Can I go to college without a high school diploma?

You will be able to find a job. The question is what type of job, and whether that job will satisfy your personal needs, wants, and desires. The certificate of completion just indicates you have completed four years of high school. Thus, employers are going to know you have not met the graduation requirements for a high school diploma. However, the jobs possibilities are going to be very limited. Every state has specific policies on continuing your education once you have received the certificate of completion. I would strongly advise you take a GED program. If you can obtain your GED, it will open up a number of possibilities for you, to include a better job, starting a college degree at a community college, and much, much more. You must acquire the will to change your circumstances. If you have a positive attitude, and a heart to succeed, you can do this. This is critical for you and your future, and you can do it.

Technically, yes. Most legitimate colleges, though, will require that you have something equivalent such as a GED; also, in some cases, colleges may offer certain courses to high school students (sometimes these count for credit towards both high school graduation requirements and an eventual college degree).
