You really shouldn't. It would make your body even weaker and you want to fight the infection off as quickly as possible. Your ear piercing wouldn't heal as well either.
BTW means nothing it's another name for a piercing that doesn't exist.
if the part of the body where you are getting the piercing is uninjured then you may get the piercing at any time you wish
Not washing your hands enough or properly is the leading cause of infections spreading. Touching an infection and then touching another part of your body is another cause.
Almost every part!
Any infection in the body would be of concern to an orthopedic surgeon. as infection can travel from one part of the body to another. Orthopedic surgeons are particularly paranoid about the risk of infection as the bone is about as deep as you can go in the body. I suggest you speak with him/her about this before you go under the knife.
a systemic infection affects a number of organs and tissues and can also effect the whole body. a localised infection is an infection that is restricted or limited to a specific body part or region
It depends entirely on what the infection is and which body part(s) the infection is affecting. You'll have to see a doctor to determine these.
First off NEVER EVER take the piercing out. The infection can get trapped in your body part that is pierced. If you did it professionaly then go back to the piercer then he/she will take care of it. If you did it by yourself then you can still got to a professional piercer for help or you can just clean it with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. Also, never use rubbing alcohol, it dries up the area and traps the infection. I hope this was helpful. Good luck.! :)
To prevent infection from spreading from one part of the body to another, it is important to shower rather than bathe during the healing process.
An endogenous infection is from biological material in one part of the body, where it is safe, intruding into a part of the body, where it can do harm - (stomach acid in the chest cavity, faecal matter in the blood etc) Just a guess!!
It depends on how long you have had the piercing. if its new about a couple mins to an hour maybe depends on the body part you put the piercing. if you had it for a while it could take a couple days to close or a month
Warts are a viral infection characterized by rough growths usually in hands, but can appear in any part of the body.
