Can you get your tongue pierced with braces?

Hi, yes, my dentist offers this service, at about £1500 for braces, scale and polish, check up and a tongue piercing. All in all, quite a good price. He also does nipple and intimate piercings too. Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure that Tattoo Bob is a real dentist!

Yes you can. Tongue piercings won't mess up the alignment of your teeth. The only problems that they cause are tooth enamel and gum erosion behind your teeth and if you bit the ball then you could chip your teeth. The only problems may come from when you get a permanent retainer placed behind your teeth. Also, if you get a removable retainer it could wear away at that too.

if you play with it.. also you will just have a hell of a lot of metal in your mouth... trust me i did it. it can wreck your teeth if you are stupid with it... just yeahh dont play with it

But also it all depends on ur condition on your teeth so yea dont play with it

Yes, but your Orthodontist may ask that you remove your barbell during the visits. Some Orthodontists are cool about tongue piercings and some aren't, same applies to Dentists.
