Yes; technically. For a while the train between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem would take about an hour a half with a quick stop in Beit Shemesh along the way. That's a long time for a train traveling such a short distance, but the train has to go the back way into Jerusalem, through the hills, which slows it down.
Not enough people were using it, so they stopped connecting the train ride with a quick stop in Beit Shemesh. Now you are lucky if it's only a 40-minute wait between trains there.
