It is notoriously hard to get a job in video game testing. First, you have to be extremely knowledgeable about video games and video game consoles. Second, be good a pushing through boring work. Game testing can be incredibly boring. Third, be willing to start for little or no pay. Fourth, be dogged. There is a lot of competition for video game testing jobs.
