yes first u must get the Pokemon u want to have a egg with. i used charizard. also u must catch a ditto they are found on rout 14 or 15 somewhere by the biker dudes. than take both those Pokemon and take themto island 4 u must beat the elite 4 to get the arora ticket and give both the Pokemon to the day care lady wait a while go talk to the dude out front of her house and he will give u an egg :)
