Depends on the state. NY you can at any age with parental consent and on your own at 18. Well the person that answered this before is a liar. bcuz i live in new york and i tried to get it done the other day and they said i have to be 16 for some reason so not every place has it, but he/she is right that you can get it in some places in ny.
Body Piercing facilities are inspected by the local health protection and inspection office and are licensed by the local city hall business licensing department. Listed in the yellow pages under heading of "Body Piercing" and or "Tattoos". All Body Piercing and Tattoo studios have age limits set by the licensing agency so age limits can vary from town to town and city to city. Prices for piercings can also vary from shop to shop as well as the requirements for parental consent. Your best bet is to call your local city hall business licensing office and ask about age requirements for your area. Then call the local studios listed and ask about shop policies and prices.
The answer to this question depends on the parents point of view. Many ppl may think that piercings are inappropriate but i have a cartilage piercing and one in my earlobes and a second hole on both ears, and i have straight A's and i am on the honor society. I am 13! If your kid is responsible and a good child, let them get the piercing. If you are worried about your child not caring for it, or you are unsure if they really want it, tell them that they have to pay half of the cost! Hope this helped! Happy * possible* Piercing!
actually you can. im getting mine tomarrow and i just turned 14.the only thing is you need a parent or guardian(idk if i spelled that right) there with you
Not without parental permission at the very least... That may not even be allowed in some areas.
yes you can but you need ur parent with you and to sign a form. i am 13 and have my tongue and Madonna piercedd.
Most piercing shops won't even serve someone under 14 regardless of whether or not you have your parent(s) with you.
You only have to be 15.
I'm guessing 14 gauge.
it's the same as an industrial piercing.
Most Industrials are generally done with your choice of either a 16 gauge or a 14 gauge.

It hurts way more! Industrial piercing is not as straightforward as traditional piercing, it is considerably more painful; The piercing, can take between three months to one year to fully heal.
No.
Industrial for sure. Tongue piercings dont hurt that much at all.
Local tattoo and piercing shops are the primary place to go when wanting to learn more about the industrial bar piercing. Information about this piercing can also be found online on the About site.
