yes you can
The iPod touch 2nd gen is the newest one. It is thinner, and It has the app store. I believe it also has higher storage options.
The 1st gen ipod touch only comes with the accelerometer, not the app store, you will have to upgrade the firmware to 2.1, for around $9.90.
I'm pretty sure that the iPhone 3G comes with an app already on it to get to the itunes store and app store. My 2nd gen iPod touch came with those. I think it's easier than buying them on my computer and then putting them on my ipod.
No
you can get it on the app store
if you have ipod touch 1st gen you can update to 2.1 to get the app store then any other ipod touch has app store but back 2 the question the app store should be on the home screen it is blue and has a pencil and paint brush and a line through the middle and underneath says app store
Yes, I'm pretty sure.
take it back to the store and return it and buy an actual 3rd gen ipod touch
YES! Shazam works on Ipod Touch 2nd Gen. I called the Apple store personally yesterday. It works on 2nd Gen. only, not the 1st Ipod Touch. The Ipod Touch 2nd Gen. has a built-in speaker where the 1st Ipod Touch does not have the speaker. For Shazam to work you will have to buy a mic to plug into it to record the sound. You can call the Apple store at 800-MY-APPLE and find out for yourself if you like.
It depends on how much Capacity your ipod touch has and how much capacity each app takes up.
Updating the software to 2.0 does not make the generation of the iPod Touch a 2nd gen.
If u want shazam 2 work on an iPod touch, not iphone, then u need 2 by a speaker for your iPod
