Bedbugs are not like fleas; bedbugs do not jump. They crawl and like dark places where people sit or lie for long periods of time... on beds or couches, or on sheets and pillows. So unless the room is completely overtaken by a huge population of bedbugs, you shouldn't carry them out with you unless your pant legs get near upholstered furniture or bed. Many people get them in infested hotel rooms because they put clothes on the bed, then into the suitcase, and take them home with them.

∙ 15y agoYes. Bedbugs are very flat, and often travel through tiny spaces in woodwork from one apartment to the next. When one apartment is treated, they are supposed to do all adjacent apartments as well. Read the Wikipedia article I'm posting in "Related Links", below the ads. They are very hard to get rid of, requiring multiple treatments by a professional pest control person, NOT just one of the landlord's 'cowboys'.

Only if You recall the moment you first saw the bed bugs I once had a set of clothes from Unique in Annandale VA. I had bought for my cosplay, turns out that the clothe was carrying bed bugs. I found out 3 weeks later. Go figure
