yes you can if you already had the braces while your tooth came out then they will put a wire over it but it you teeth came out before the braces no because it is a possibility that the braces can close the gap and stop the adult tooth from coming back in

I think u might need dentures instead of braces.

If you have several missing teeth in the front of your mouth, then it is NOT advised to do so! This is only because your teeth will be aligned and there will be no room for the new tooth to grow. It is better to have all your teeth grown back, then started; I doubt the orthodontist would put braces on if you had missig teeth. ~I have braces with chains and rubber bands~

Yes you can. I have braces on the top row of my teeth I have a missing molar. The implant is needed to prevent the teeth from shifting again.

User Avatar

Yes, you still can get braces they just move the ring that usually goes around the back teeth to the nearest tooth to the back :)

They're not required, but recommended. I was missing 3 teeth(1 removed, 2 never came in), and I had braces for 3 years. Usually after the treatment, and you are over 21, they will do an implant of a fake tooth. If they don't do the implant, they will just move the teeth close together. Good luck!

I wear retainers since I took out my braces. I have lost three upper jaw teeth! My teeth are spacing out and need to replace the two missing teeth. Can i have dentures to replace missing teeth as well as wear retainers to keep the other remaining teeth in place? Tx

User Avatar

if your bottom teeth are okay and straight then they are not going to put braces in the bottom teeth , but if your top teeth are crooked and not straight , then you will only get braces at the top.

As long as you brush your teeth while you have your braces, there will be no marks. I had no marks on my teeth when my braces were removed. Another student in my school, however, never brushed her teeth and when her braces were removed she actually had brown bands on her teeth. ~ T

Of course you can. Braces have nothing to do with the "color/brightness" of your teeth. Braces are used to straighten teeth. If it is, in your finding, that drinking coffee has discolored your teeth, then he or she (your dentist) can apply a "whitener" to your teeth, regardless of braces. Regards

They don't put braces they wait for the baby teeth to fall out and if the adult teeth come in wrong then they put braces.

User Avatar

your teeth must be not in its correct spot if your teeth are good then do not put on braces or less your teeth will be so bad than it was

You can get braces for any type of teeth that you may have. A dentist will be able to let you know if you are able to get braces.

There are some relevant aspects of your situation that you haven't told us. How old are you? Are teeth missing because they haven't grown in yet, or because they were knocked out, or fell out due to periodontal disease? I might advise you to wait for new teeth to grow in the first situation, and in the second, you might want to have artificial teeth implanted before getting braces, for the best looking result. And if you are losing teeth due to periodontal disease (or other medical problems) then it probably doesn't pay to correct the angle of teeth that you are likely to lose anyway. But yes, it is possible to get braces even with missing teeth. Talk to your dentist.

User Avatar

Yes they can. I had a removable brace fitted and I am missing three teeth on my left hand side and two on my right due to my treatment. As long as you have at least one tooth either side of the teeth you want moved it's fine.
