AnswerI don't think a GPA of 1.8 will get you in the Marines anymore. I think you're going to have to find a community college to get your grades together before a college will look at you.

Yes. Keep on the school to make sure they know you really want to go there. You may have to talk to several different people and jump through some hoops but you can be accepted into a college. You will be accepted on probation and while on probation you have to maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better for one year (2 semesters). If you drop below 2.5 for either semester the school will kick you out and then you will have to attend a community college to get your grades back up.

This same thing has happened to me and now I am having to attend a community college. Coming out of high school I too only had a 1.8.

Some courses that are not crowded is your best chance of being accepted.

To continue at a CC you must achieve a minimum of 2 GPA on your studies.
