For the latter, "Lying to a Police Officer" is a misdemeanor, if you are prosecuted, most likely your punishment will be probation of some kind, as well as fines.
It varies by state but if you gave the wrong information to avoid arrest, that is a much more serious situation - you could be charged with "identity fraud", which could lead to jail time - sorry I can't be more precise - from the information given.
