Yes. But you'll need to find a way to prove you have the skill sets necessary to move into the engineering field. If you have no degree in engineering, and have no plans to get a degree in engineering, I would suggest an internship.

engineering. do engineering. you will be guaranteed a $20/hr job after graduation. one who holds an engineering degree can do any business related job, just not accounting. accounting on the other hand can do any business job, but not engineering. also not to mention, accounting is very very boring work. what's your pick? In order to qualify for a job in sales engineering, one would need an undergraduate degree in engineering and a masters in business administration. Also, prior experience in sales would be a plus and the ability to work with people.

Engineering students need managerial economics so that they can better understand how they help their business. With a broader view of their contribution to the organization, they are able to do a better job.
Most schools provide engineering courses and job placement. One of the better one's that I know is Lincoln Tech because they will help you find a job. I think it takes about two years.
