if an immigrant gets an aggrivated felony while in the US, they can and will have their residency taken away
In UK, yes you can get married. If only honest people could marry, there would be very few marriages taking place.
Referring to the note posted in "discussion" -- She IS guilty of bigamy. If you are legally married to another living individual it makes no difference where you resided when you got married the second time. Being simultaneously married to two people is bigamy. Period.
Then you are a bigamist, which is a felony in most states. Also, your second marriage is of no effect. You can only be married to one person at a time in the US.
Your being married isn't the determining factor in whether you are charged as an adult or not. If you were married before the age of 18 you would have had to have had parental consent, thus your parents would have signed for you to marry. If you committed a felony prior to turning 18 as well, it would depend on the circumstances and any mitigating factors as to how you would be charged.
He/she can be charged with Bigamy which is a felony. That is a lot of trouble. (and three mothers-in-law)

You can certainly have a legal marriage. However, that will not change his status automatically and he could still be deported. And since he has a felony, obtaining the appropriate visa to come into the country to get married will be difficult. You could find yourself married and have to either abandon the marriage or move to his country of origin.
Daughter married to Nigerian deporting him no felony charges help
If you are married to a US citizen who is a felon, the marriage is still legal. If he is now in prison and you are trying to move to the United States, it may cause you problems. If he committed a felony and is now out of prison, there should be no problems other than the usual. That is not guarantee there will not be.
