You can catch MESPRIT, but it is extremely hard since he/she/it runs A.S.A.P. Easiest is to track it down over and over, get it's health to red without killing it, put it to sleep or paralyze it or whatever, then just keep hunting it down and throwing Ultra Balls or a Master Ball. Use Master Balls if you transferred some from GBA Pokemon games along with Pokemon but don't save your only Master Ball just for MESPRIT, AZELF, or UXIE, you can catch all 3, so best not waste on just 1 unless you have multiple.
