They don't get paid by Wiki. However, my work is real slack and when I'm not busy I sit here and answer questions. So in a sense, I suppose I do get paid to answer these questions.

So, it can be a matter waiting. Also, putting questions in the right categories can help a lot. Users will come in and search for unanswered questions in given categories. If your question is not categorized or is categorized incorrectly, it may never get seen.
